Tired of Bliss, the STANDARD Windows XP look and feel? Energy Blue is a new theme for Tablet PC and and WinXP Media Center Edition 2005. This installer alows the rest of the Windows world to enjoy the theme for the select few. Even if you don’t like the theme the wallpaper is still a nice change.

I got this theme about a month ago and I love it. I heard of it from the TechTV Message boards, and another topic came to this page and I saw this Media Center Theme here too. So i decided to leave a comment and tell how great it looks. Try it, you have nothing to lose. if you dont like it then just switch back to whatever you had before.

Hey Dan you said you need to download the file right off this page - you cant copy and paste the exe in the addressbar. Well I clicked the link and I right clicked and even tryed to ” save target as “. I did not copy and paste the exe in the address bar like you said, nothing is wroking. I think mark is right. Just installed it on XP SP1 and it is running great! Thanks. But where is the wallpaper located? (The actualy file) after I installed it by following the instructions, it didn’t change my wallpaper, only the style…so where is the wallpaper?

If you REALLY want The MCE theme, download Shareaza, (no spyware as such) There are about 16 different ISO’s with at least 300 P2P’ers off each one. But you have to search for “Windows Media Centre Edition 2005″, or else you’ll get jack shit

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition is not available to retail, reseller or residential consumers, if you’re looking for it, there is no way whatsoever you will find it. I do, however, have Microsoft Windows XP MCE 2001, I’ve never installed it, as I was advised not to because Microsoft is cracking down on illegal copies, but I’m guessing that it would be basically the same as the newer version. If, in fact I were to give it to anyone, I am not to be held responsible for any damage to hardware, as I am not sure if this copy is legal.

No layden93, the program that runs on MCE cannot be run on Windows XP home, I’ve tried looking for that program, but it won’t run on windows XP home, professional, Pro VLK, tablet PC edition or pocket PC edition. The program you’re looking for ONLY runs on an MCE OPERATING system. BUT

Download BitSpirit free program and download the windows i just downloaded today on it…. if u dont know how torrents work .. its nothin hard.. just remember u dont search in the program .. u find it on the torrent websites like torrentspy.com and then when u click on the website to download it the program will open by clickin open on the popups.

make sure that there is enough seeders … SHORTCUT “S” thats people that share it at the moment and L” is people downloading at the moment.. D” is how many times downloaded…. i recommend http://www.piratebay.com .. and the config the only thing i changed is what connection im using i dont know what that could be.. but on pirate bay there is people talkin about how 2 get the 2005… right now i didnt really care what year it was.. i just wanted some change on my pc so i got WMC .. great look and features.. and also u can ask people there .. when u find what u want 2 download just click on it and u can read what people asked and answered and u can ask 2.

According to Microsoft, Windows XP Media Center Edition is “Windows XP Pro with certain features removed…including the ability to join a domain.”
Does anyone know why they removed this feature, and how I can get it back w/o reverting to straight XP Pro?

If you really want a good look to crappy old windows xp.. you should all look into Litestep ! much better look and feel than the explorer shell windows is running. With a ton of other features try it !

Dang it! My System some how lost it’s ability to read certain files like .cab, .pf, and others, totally killing many applications like uh… Internet EXPLORER!. I try an XP Pro restore disk but ended up wiping out my XP Media center image. I have the original key, but I can’t find my install disk. Does any one know wehre I can get a new disk for free, or down load and image.
Any thoughts or help would much appreciated…

I have a problem with my Media Center. It will not let me download the latest guide for the tv channels. I keep getting a “Code 3″ or a “Code 20″ popup. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this????

Great theme, check out the “Royale Noir” its the same design only its jet black with an orange start menu button. Its sick.
And this is not a hack (To the guy who said it was). Its an official release microsoft signed theme. Same for Royale Noir
Also, try going to the appearance tab on your display properties, then go to advanced, you can change the size of buttons/scrollbars, the colors of everything, the fonts of titles and stuff.
