I still have an old computer that has Flying Toasters.
Flying out of the sun
The smell of toast is in the air,
When there’s a job to be done,
The flying toasters will be there,
And its Flap! Flap! Flap!
Now help is on the way,
This vic’try song they sing,
We pop up to save the day,
On Mighty Toaster Wings!
In Brightest Day or After Dark,
When times of trouble are at hand,
The Flying Toasters set a spark,
And hope is blazing ‘cross the land!
And its Flap! Flap! Flap!
Salvation from above,
A precious gift they bring:
Gleaming Angels of Love,
On Migh-ty Toast-er Wings!
teehee, that song drives me nuts

I have all of the After Dark stuff on a disk. You Bet Your Head, Bad Dog, Fish Pro, Rat Race, Daredevil Dan, Flying Toasters, all that good stuff. I’m going to auction it off at ebay.

I wish I still had a computer with after dark screensavers. I used to have it and, when I was little, me and my cousins would spend hours watching them. They were the greatsest.

Anyone know that classical song that used to be with one version of the toasters? I think the notes go something like
gb b gb b d b
d b d f# d
f# d f# a a(octavelower) d a f#
You might have to mess around with it, but i think once you hear it you will remember. If anyone could figure out the name that would be great.

Holy crap, I saw that on a computer in a Sam’s Club back in 1996 (or so) and was entranced by it (I was 12 years old). I memorized the first verse and the first line of the chorus by repeating it over and over and over throughout the store and on the drive back home. There was no sound on of course, so I made up my own tune.
Over the next week I recorded over 3 hours of Flying Toasters Adventure radio shows and even came up with an ending theme.
I’m so psyched to have the rest of the lyrics!

Oh, and to answer Steve’s question above it was Wagner’s ‘Ride of the Valkyries’…

I remember the After Dark stuff. It was so cool. My favorite, though, was Rat Race. I had a favorite rat and everything. It had music, and they ran down the little track, and you picked their intelligence level so they could finish the track faster or slower… Anyone know, can I download that from somewhere, just the rat race screen saver?

Hey, I got a setup of after dark screen saver. Actually I have two setups. Both of these setups are built for xp, but One of these setups runs on my computer. It has all of the clasic after dark screen savers, games, and some wallpapers. Now, the one I have installed in my win xp, some of the screensavers do not work. If you are interested, and would like to try on your computer, e-mail me at zsheikh1@msn.com I will send it you as a attachment.
