meebo on my active desktop, originally uploaded by abunchofrandom.

Meebo recently updated their service to support Jabber [read Google Talk]. If you didn’t catch our post here, Meebo is an AJAX web based chat service which support AIM/ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, and now Jabber.

If you’re on Windows and wish to use Meebo as your Active Desktop, follow the steps below:

1. Right-click on your desktop and go to Properties > Desktop
2. Click the Customize Desktop button. In the resulting window navigate to the Web tab.
3. Click New. In the New Desktop Item window enter http://meebo.com in the Location field and click OK.
