Turn a Google gadget into a MacOS X Widget, and make a MacOS X Widget into standalone application.

Mesa Dynamics, one of the companies I always watch because of their interesting application offerings, has announced a Public Beta of a program called “Amnesty Generator.”
This softwares allows you to select a Google webpage gadget, copy and paste its HTML code directly into the Amnesty Generator window, tweak some settings (if you wish) and generate a new widget with the click of a button.
Then you can install your new widgets into Apple’s Dashboard, or even convert them into a standalone OS X applications, with no dependancies, with Amnesty Singles.
The only problem that I found with this whole process is that any Google gadget that has been converted into a widget is completely internet dependent, which is annoying.
We have attached an example of a Google gadget that was converted into a widget and a standalone application so, and is certainly worth a download, to see the results of Mesa Dynamics programs.

Absolutely Brilliant. I just need a widget/application that can pay my bills for me. Any ideas?

Yep, this is a dupe, but since the latest version finally supports Bejeweled, maybe it was worth a repeat. ;-)
